This appliance received the Grand Prix of Best of Show Award at NetWorld + Interop 2004 Tokyo as the most effective appliance for security. 　 OnePointWall is still virtually the only solution which can select traffics and block connecting Winny.　 　Since this appliance blocks out Winny traffic itself, this can prevent data breaches by virus on Winny. 　Therefore, if OnePointWall had been configured, these data breaches would not have happened.

Development and Contribution

OnePointWall can also selectively block various traffics but does not have an effect on other necessary traffics. Moreover, we will update this function according to technical development. Here are some examples of the function. You can freely select the rules.

Leakage from E-mail

　There are accidents that someone mistakenly puts a long list of email addresses in the “to” section or “cc” section on an email and send it off to them. Though those failures may decrease by trainings, other human errors can happen any time. One Point Wall technically helps to prevent those errors. One Point Wall checks emails with too many email addresses. 　

Neglecting duties

Is it fair that employees enjoy access to online forums such as 2channel in Japan and Gaia Online in U.S.A. during working hours? These behaviors may put their companies in trouble (leaking information from internal networks, calumny, etc.) One Point Wall blocks access to those forums.
